Spicy Pepper,

you should have extended your stay as I'm SURE that in real they're breath-taking!.. but if you don't have a budget then it would be a smart choice actually lol

u should add more of art and paintings.. instead of all FASHION all the time ;)

why dont we have such auctions her in kuwait.. known or not knwn artists! let the market forces deceide.. and the rest to know!

Simper,

I'm drawn to everything artistic and I see Fashion as art as well :)

O Thaniyan I don't think there's a mass interest in arts and culture here, thus there's no market in Kuwait for such huge auctions. We don't have "market forces" at all, they might go to such events once, twice, and that's it, not as serious collectors. It might end up being more of a social event than cultural :/

what if it is only social, so be it.. it has to start from somewhere..

lets have some auctions for up to 500KD this would teach people to price and collect.. and push towards better market forces for both buyers and sellers (artists/collectors).

Simper,

it's not feasible for art dealers to do events that'll end up in merely "socialising". What we need is more art galleries like Sultan Gallery, so the competition gets fierce, o ba3dain they can all collaborate to do an auction or something.
o ba3dain ana wa7da itha baroo7 bashtiri good art, investment or not, not crappy art o 3alabonna support.. plus we lack creative artists who are capable of doing quality work for 500KD lilasaf
but if you think it'll work yalla 3ada eedik :) do it! :P
