Kaalam - Light Calligraphy

(Images réalisées sans trucage ni retouche.
Le principe est simple : L’appareil photo, posé sur un pied, prend une photographie en "pause longue". Ce qui veut dire que la photographie peut durer de 30 secondes à plusieurs dizaines de minutes en fonction de la luminosité du lieu choisi. C’est le même principe utilisé par les photographes pour photographier les trainées des phares de voitures sur le périphérique par exemple. Pendant ce long temps de pause, je construis des calligraphies à l’aide de lampes de différentes formes et couleur, en utilisant le décor comme "fond de toile".)

Basically the artist, Julien Breton, sets the camera still and takes a shot with a really long exposure or pause (for several minutes) so he can create illuminating calligraphy by using light torches of different forms and colors. These photographs have not been retouched in any way, shape, or form.

Never complain, Never explain..

Q: what is worse than a nagging woman?
A: a complaining man!

I do not like to complain (ok maybe to a selected few)

and I don't like it when people constantly complain..

Does it get worse with age?

We have a list of the most annoying people and try our best to avoid them. People who have CCD (chronic complaining disease (made up tara)) come right at the top! They don't care where you are, in a party, on the streets, doctor's office.. they'll go right ahead and greet you with a sorrowful annoying face, expecting you to respond with: "ha 3asa ma shar" so they can bombard you with their endless string of complaints about random unnecessary useless stuff that you didn't need to know in the first place and don't mean a thing to you.
So don't fall for it and ask "3asa ma shar".

I suggest keeping quite and nodding.
Preferably have a mobile handy, so you could call someone and complain about that complaining person!

LOL yeah I do that, but it's worthy of a complaint! :P

"السعودية: السجن والجلد لعجوز سورية بسبب "الخلوة

والله عيب

حكمت احدى المحاكم الشرعية في مدينة الشملي السعودية الواقعة شمال شرقي السعودية على عجوز سورية في الخامسة والسبعين من العمر بالسجن اربعة اشهر واربعين جلدة بعد ادانتها بـ"خلوة غير شرعية" مع شابين سعوديين.
كما قضت المحكمة بترحيل العجوز خميسة محمد السوادي الى بلدها ومنعها من دخول السعودية مرة اخرى.
وقالت صحيفة الوطن السعودية في عددها الصادر الاربعاء ان عضوين في هيئة الامر بالمعروف والنهي عن المنكر (الشرطة الدينية) قد القيا القبض على الشابين السعوديين العام الماضي اثر دخولهما الى منزل العجوز.
وقال احدهما لعناصر الهيئة انه ابن العجوز بالرضاعة وانه اصطحب معه الثاني لايصال الخبز الى منزلها.
وقد اعتبر القاضي في قرار حكمه ان الشاب ليس ابنا للعجوز لان ميلاده يسبق ميلاد ابنة العجوز بثلاث سنوات ونصف فحكمت عليه ايضا بالسجن 4 اشهر وجلده 40 جلدة.
اما الشاب الثاني والذي قام بتوصيل الخبز الى منزل العجوز فحكم عليه القاضي بالسجن 6 اشهر و60 جلدة.
واستند القاضي الشرعي في حكمه على افادات عنصري هئية الامر بالمعروف وشكوى والد الشاب الاول الذي اتهم العجوز بسوء الاخلاق والفساد.
وقال الشاب الاول الذي قال انه ابن العجوز بالرضاعة انها طلبت منه ايصال الخبز الى منزلها وانه اصحب معه الشاب الثاني الذي لم يدخل المنزل.
من جانبها قالت العجوز انها ستطعن في الحكم وان الشاب ابنها وان لم يعترف القاضي بذلك.

I've been through many guides and believe me nothing quite compares.
No pictures though, but who needs photos of places you're already going to visit anyway!

New guides come out every six months.
